Raid Review

With an ongoing plethora of the intense movies Ajay Devgan has been acting in, another cinema has hit the theatres on 16th March, 2018 which has again embarked and sparkled an intense thriller with the man himself and the alure acting by Illeana D'Cruz. This movie has set the locus to another height of success where the audience did not even think of repositing their focus for a second and stuck to their seats with popcorns and coldrinks going unnoticed.

Ajay Devgan starrer 'Raid' has again in the epitome genre of bravery documentaries has put forward a fantastic Raid organised by one of the bravest Income Tax officer Mr. Amay Patnaik, in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. A fearless and stern officer without any consternation has just focussed on his duty and responsibility with all might has eventualised one of the biggest Raids in the country irrespective of multiple interventions from high officials trying to cease the raid, even from the then Prime Minister in 1981, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The rest is something to be present at the hall and watched which commemorates a bulk of feelings, fear, calmness and a rejuvenating personality of Mr. Patnaik played by Ajay Devgan adds a lot of twist and tales in the cinematography. Dealing with a highly influential Minister being the major coordinator of the Central Government in a state like Lucknow and raiding his house was something which needs some goad. And Mr. Patnaik did this out of his honestly and dedication towards his duty and oath taken while starting his tenure as an officer.

Acting wise too every actor in the movie has subtled a good skillset and has given all their might and litigations to make the scene seem absolutely factual. A must watch movie for a life learning and to educate ourselves with one of the most honest officer with one of the biggest and most successful raid of 420cr from one of the most influential politician in that era. I would rate this movie 9/10.
