Kerela couldnt have face anything worse

Kerala is a state whose fame had always enjoyed ethnicity, variety of culture and its cleanliness. Literacy is also something not to be ignored. But unfortunately a spurious event grounded on the soils of the state which proved not only to turn out a doom to the culture and heritage of Kerala but also an indirect tight slap to the Indian ethic and its diversity of which India has always proud been of.
It is not very uncommon or unknown to us the rape cases or murder charges or something like dowry and girl child abuse in India. Infact these are the very obscure phenomenon eventuating among the backward or underdeveloped parts of our society. Now one fine morning, while we read a newspaper assisting ourself with a cup of tea and we come across a headline stating news reporting about a teenage girl being raped continuously for two years in a state like Kerala, it will surely hit our nerves. Now that’s not all! This will take someone beyond petrifaction if the report states that the teenager was raped not by her boyfriend, enemy or a stranger but some earthlings whom she called father and brother. On a serious note, even if a pinch of humanity abides in someone, this news will admittedly rip their conscience apart. Kerala had always been recognized as the “Cleanest state of India”. A state which not only disdained terrorism but also maintained its purity and greenery shouldn’t have surpassed this kind of immorality. A similar case was reported earlier in Kerala in Kannur district as well. The sole anomaly between the two incidents was that in the Kottayam case, the mother was the one who reported to the police but in the Kannur case the mother didn’t support the daughter. According to IPC act 375, a seven year imprisonment should be imposed to criminals who commit rape. This goes for a human being, not animals. Those insane animals should be fiercely gunned down as they similarise pet animals turning insane. It really appalls me to see the level of sex hunger among some immatured dissipated males in this country. They turn out to be so blind that they shut their consciousness and senses to every heights of fallaciousness. Its almost beyond our normal cognition to even feel as to what condition and state has the girl gone through. Torture torture and torture for 2 years. No one to complain just because she is a girl. If she complains against her father and brother, its she herself who would be pointed out to be a whore. Kerala is the only state in India where the female members are more than that of the male members as the ratio goes like 923 men per 1000 women. Even after this strength of women why was the poor girl suffering for two consecutive years? Even after having the highest literacy rate in the country why such an incident occurred which even illiterates would keep them away from?
In order to embellish the dual queries, the point that I would like to accomplish as the centre of gravity is that education enough is not at all the solution of all problems. We live in a country where poor people starve to get educated and some people die because of education (pressure). Now some of you might perceive that the next sentence of mine would be, “Proper education is what the citizens’ devoir”. Being very modest, I wont ignore that but even proper education isn’t abundant to get rid of these circumstances. It’s the self consciousness that lacks among these people. Education, even proper education wont eradicate this can of worms. There should be certain principles and moral values that someone should follow. Self control is something that every individual should have aquittance to. We can’t have a broad discussion on this affair as we can’t obstruct secretion of hormones but we can refrain ourselves in the boundaries of ethics and principles. People who can’t, needs an exigency psychiatric treatement.  Heading on to the first question, now this is something serious to consider!
Now on a serious note, Kerala has a higher number of females than men. In no manner I am trying to prove a fact that having more females in a state can restrict rape cases but the women can be strong enough to fight against the injustice done to them. Why was the teenage girl quite? Why didn’t she raise her voice? Being very modest and unbiased, the true fact is already something begrime has happened to her. Now if she doesn’t raise her voice, the sequence wont stop. But if she raised her voice, something worse could have been prevented for occurring. The true fact to observe here is women are too worried about their prestige and self respect that they agitate in speaking anything against injustice done to them. Its really a high time for women to understand that if they don’t speak up, they will always remain suppressed. You don’t speak up, you are not heard. Women power is something that cant even be imagined as to how strong they can be. But you need the will to work it out in a right manner. If women start stepping up, the topmost stair isn’t far away, if they start backing up, they get unnoticed.
