Maharashtra and Haryana Tax collection: Not enough to create a proper drainage system

Post the tremendous amount of rainfall in States like Maharashtra and Chandigarh amidst tonnes of condolences and invocations, glides away a thought of the transpiration. How did the balls stipulated in clusters? With an aggregation of almost Rs. 1 Lakh Crore as the tax payed by the tax payers in the form of CEST, GST, VAT, Vehicle Tax, Roadways tax, the elementary question which rises is if the tax collected every year is too less to construct efficient drainage systems all across the state? With every year progressing, the situation still remains identical and who is going to be held responsible for this matter? Or its always a pre-destined phenomenon of playing passing the buck game with commoners unrelentingly suffering and dying through the massacre every passing year!

Also the recent focus has been converged into the Tax Payers money to be disbursed into corruption activities and other immoral doings in this country in the name of Social Welfare and experts well attested to explain us the difference between Party and Public funds. Its truly shocking to witness how even human lives are politicized at their cost and hard earned income out of which they pay to the Government and the absolute aftermath of which is ending up suffering and losing their lives. Its was even more disheartening to see when Congress allegedly paid the Tax Payers money to scammers like Augusta Handel and the Italian Underworld. Crores of money are being invested into unscrupulous on goings and the so called experts just claim that to be a Party fund expenditure. Our largest Municipal corporation, BMC is actually to busy fighting cases against people who speaks averse them and prove illegal housing wherein they are least concerned to actually get the potholes repaired and the drainage system embellished. There is always a political turmoil in the country and every party renders itself as the only party thinking about the country's welfare. At every stroke of the midnight these political turmoil gets amateurish and the commoners are the ones who suffer wherein this simple logic is concealed among them that if the commoners dont get the benefits, either they die or leave the country. We are the ones bringing revenue to the country through innumerable opportunities and present that to the world. We make the country the best investment option for bigger markets in lieu of Man Power, Raw materials and costing. We are proceeding towards being the Golden Bird but woefully the cat fights dont end and we are today getting drowned and water inserting into our homes and we are helpless. The Maharashtra floods in 2005 which was one if the worst incidents in the history of this country along with Godhra and Bhopal Gas Tragedy, its absolutely abhorrent to see that no developments has yet been done and every year 35 lives at an average are lost due to rains and floods. The ministry always forecasts the plan for Bullet trains and Hyperbholes which are essential initiatives for the growth and development of this nation but how come at the cost of human lives lost due to poor drainage? There is always a sheer lack of aggression and a go getter attitude which should be the situation under these circumstances. When we open up a debate show, there is a sheer blame game being played to recieve vote banks and every natural calamity being politicized instead of taking up measure to eradicate horrendous outcomes.

Last but not the least, few question that yet has no answers. When will the Vote Bank politics be sacrificed for human protection? When will human lives prioritise party well beings? When will taking an agressive step be more important than blame games? When will parties start taking accountability? These questions have always been unanswered and unheard by the deeming politicians who should take responsibility for these massacre. A mere realization of the fact that People for Party and Party for people and proper implementation of this motto is as crucial as living for yourself and turning this country as the 'Golden Bird'. We have all yet we have nothing!

  1. Well said shivarjun i appricate that you have come out with the picture of haryana nd Maharashtra but The hardest things in the world is tax....
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
This is a never ending process nd i wish something will happen to this states...
India is developing nd will be developing till the time people themselves don't do anything... Nothing can change...
